The greatest healing minds in history—from Hippocrates to Buddha—sought knowledge and wisdom to heal themselves as well as others. It is only by walking your own path of healing that you can help other travelers on their road. Although their paths were unique to their own lessons, the end goal was the same—less suffering and greater happiness.
The content laid out in this book was integral in guiding my own Journey. The diet and nutritional supplement techniques helped me overcome almost every physical symptom I suffered from, many of which I had experienced throughout most of my life. Attention to the basics of human health and the persistence to stick with healthy lifestyle behaviors long enough to see a positive change were as powerful as the changes I made.
This doesn’t make me a special case. You too can overcome anything with enough persistence and resources. You just have to keep going. Whether you’re struggling to overcome a disease and get off of all of your prescription medications or striving for a fuller expression of life, there is one trait you must possess for success – persistence.
Michael Jordan got cut from his junior high basketball team because he wasn’t good enough but went on to become the greatest basketball player in history, playing the game with unparalleled grace and determination. Likewise, I’m sure every painting of Monet or Picasso wasn’t a world class work of art. They probably threw away three times as many canvases as they kept—but they kept painting.
We are entering into the Golden Age of Health right now. Humanity is taking great strides in achieving its own healing. The expanding availability of sustainable and organic food choices and the vast amount of helpful information on the world wide web make this time one of the most exciting in history for realizing our human growth potential. Never before have we as a people had such access to life-promoting resources as we have right now.
This book is meant to be another resource for you – a guide to help you on your journey. Some of the content in this book will be information that you have not been exposed to before now. It is my intention to introduce this knowledge in a way that can be clearly understood. It is my hope that what you read here will drive you to take action towards improving some aspect of your life.
